Salon Services & Supplies was founded by hair designers with the goal of creating
more than just a distributorship—they wanted to create a resource for beauty
professionals and facilitate opportunities to raise industry standards.
Owners Sydney Berry and George Learned are both recognized within our industry
for their honesty and integrity. They are both very hands-on with the business,

Our new hands-on educational facility is equipped with state-of-the-art aestetic equipment.
We host a variety of non-product specific classes which are usually open to all skin care
professionals. Recognized as an official host site for the International Dermal Institute, classes are often
taught by professional guest instructors, as well as our own in-house educators.

Education has been the cornerstone of Salon Services & Supplies since our inception.
Our Education Department offers a variety of classes in business and people-building
skills. We offer both manufacturer technical classes and additional non-product specific technical classes,
held in a variety of locations throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

We have multiple showrooms located throughout Washington and Oregon for your convenience.
Each has been designed to emulate a high-end salon or spa retail environment to help give you

For more than 20 years, owner Sydney Berry has been hosting bi-monthly Club 40 meetings. Meetings are now held in
multiple locations in Washington and Oregon, and the concept has been expanded to include regional Skin Care Forums.
The name Club 40 was derived from the fact that membership in the group required the salon to share a common goal
of sustaining 40% of its income in retail dollars.
Owners and mangers of some of the most successful salons in the Northwest meet to exchange ideas,
successes, and challenges. Meetings usually address a specific topic, but open forums also
occur allowing the opportunity to discuss anything on your mind!
