Encouraging Personal Mastery

Salon Services firmly believes in building long-lasting business and personal relationships with all of our salon and spa clients. In doing so, we strive to encourage each business to be the most successful and very best version of itself. We want our business partners to stay inspired, be creative and make the best decisions possible for them. In short, we encourage them to build a high level of personal mastery in all they do.

Encouraging personal mastery can be interpreted in many different ways and we encourage our associates to embody this mantra in the ways that best suits them. Below some Salon Services associates explain what encouraging personal mastery means to them:

"A few different things on a few different levels: At the Salon Services level, every day I am blissfully aware that I now work for a company that truly has invested in ME, as a person.

"At the salon level, encouraging personal mastery means that I, as a sales person, am one of the salon's resources not just for product, but for creativity, solutions to problems, information on market trends, even just being there to vent on at times. I feel it my responsibility to encourage the salon and stylists to reach for something more than the norm, to be the best at their job they can possibly be by getting them to attend educational events and helping in any other situation needed. With this, the salon becomes more successful, and I become more than just another sales person the salon has to deal with, I become a true partner in helping their business succeed."
Scott, Boise Sales Consultant

"It means my strengths are put into play to allow me to be the best I can be in any given situation. It is also a feeling that I get in the top of my stomach that sends adrenaline rushing through me when I know I am being the best I can be! It is what drives me to gather more knowledge and tools to not only further myself, but encourage those around me."
Marci, Washington Regional Sales Manager

"To encourage growth in myself and others - personally and professionally. To constantly challenge myself to be the best I can be. To see and think positively and to encourage my team to do the same."
Sheri, Marketing Manager

"To inspire others to reach the top in their profession in the following areas: technical expertise, business expertise and personal expertise."
George, Owner and Vice-President of Sales

"Owning my position with Salon Services. By this I mean being the best me I can be for the betterment of both myself and Salon Services. I bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to everything I do. I am bringing that same effervescence to my position and will do it with vim and vigor just as I live the rest of my life. I have always been an avid seeker of new information and challenges. This management position allows me to learn a whole new industry as well as challenge myself to lead and mentor in a new environment. I want to make a difference in my sales consultants' success as well as lead them to be the best they can be too."
C.J., Showroom Manager

The ability of accomplishment what makes yourself and others comfortable with you and your decisions. Pride in achieving who you have become. It is the ability to convey to others the wonderful products and success that our company has achieved and to convince our customers that they are making the right decision in coming to us to gain the knowledge, through education and the products that we sell for them to be successful in their businesses. Finally, it is the ability to be "honest" and fair with everyone you deal with."
